Grace upon Grace

Ever have that moment when you are thinking back over the last few weeks, months, or years and realize "Oh my goodness, God. Thank you".

A few days ago I started the task of writing out my testimony. I have written it out several times and every time I do, it changes. Not the basis of Christ saving me but everything after. Every time I think through my "story" the Lord reveals new ways he has worked in my life. As a sat at my kitchen table and wrote I almost began to weep. Now, keep in mind, this girl does not cry often! But my heart was so overwhelmed by the grace that God has lavishly covered me in.

But this is not just my story, this is everyone's story! God has lavishly covered every single one of us in grace upon grace upon grace. In Roman's 8:39 it is written, "Neither height not depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord".

Often it is easier to think, "No, I have done too much" or "I will never be enough" or whatever that "____________" is for you. But those are straight up lies. The enemy tricks us into believing those lies but God desperately loves you. Hear me loud and clear! The incredible creator of the universe loves YOU! Nothing can separate us from that love. Man, is God good or what?

Sometimes, I forget that.

But God being so abundant in his grace and love reminds me that He is there.

Immanuel. Meaning, God with us.
